Keep your head always!

Life at the workplace can be intriguing at times. Not only you have to work with people but also try and understand the behavior of each individual. To understand the behavior of people, there is a lot of experience that is required. Not only does one have to learn things faster but also make sure that nothing comes in the way that hampers your growth. It takes effort to channelise the energy of others towards fulfilment of one's goals but if you can do that then you have mastered the art of people management.

People management is a science as well as an art. Not only you keep your research going 24/7 but also find new ways and techniques to get things done at the split of a second when such an opportunity arises.

The person who has this skill can expect to go places in his career, not to forget attitude, which is the most important factor that is required to go to the top. Positive attitude, fire in the belly and the will to win really matter in order to achieve your dreams.

Focus is the key, no matter what the obstacles your focus should not shift, you should have a clear cut idea of your short term goals and take these short steps to achieve the long term vision that you have.

There will be a lot of hurdles, but if you know your goal then you have the ability to overcome those hurdles.

Famous quotes

"Success demands singleness of purpose."
"Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome."

"Our attitude toward life determines life's attitude towards us."

U-turn that is life!

Hi all,

I wanted to write a special piece dedicated to my cuzin Prienca & my dear niece Parie.
It was as if it were yesterday, when Prienca and I were kids and we use to play around at my place, even fighting with each other over small things. But, she has been my most wonderful cuzin, very caring and a motivator of sorts for me. She has always excelled in whatever she has pursued. She has always been ready with a helping hand whenever I have needed her advice & guidance, and to this day I am very found of her. She is a very special person and even though she is very far, I hope that through this message, I can convey to her what a wonderful human being she has been and I hope she will teach the same special things in her own special way to her lovely daughter, who I feel is a mirror image of her, at least in physical appearance. I wish you the best of luck, may you be the best mother in the world.

Lots of Love
Kanu

Take Life as it comes!

It seems as if ages have past since I went to school, having that feeling of being free from all responsibilities, tensions and stress of the real world. Yes, there was no such apprehension at that time in the first place. The realisation only takes place when you leave that life, and enter the most defining phase, ie the Real Life.

It was much like a dream world inside the real world, a world that teaches us the intricacies of how to approach the Real Life while inculcating the same set of values, principles learnt earlier.

It is a thought that also invokes a sense of deja vu, as you don't know how you will respond to the Real Life, after leading the life in the dream world.

Some people freak out at the enormous amount of expectations, focus and drive that is needed to do well in the Real Life, but it is the self actualization need that comes to the fore.

To sum it up, its the values and learnings that drive the attitude of the person to dream big even in the Real World!
